Learning to wheelie is an exciting challenge, but it’s easy to develop bad habits that slow progress and increase risk. At our Dubai-based wheelie training facility, we see common mistakes all the time—and we help riders correct them in a safe, controlled environment.

If you’re struggling to master the wheelie, here are the most common mistakes and how to fix them!
1. Using Too Much or Too Little Throttle
Mistake: Many beginners either give too much throttle and flip the bike back or don’t give enough and fail to lift the front wheel.
Fix: The key is controlled, gradual throttle application. Our stabilizing machine helps you find the right balance without the fear of overdoing it.
2. Poor Body Positioning
Mistake: Sitting too far forward, pulling on the handlebars, or leaning too far back can throw off your balance.
Fix: Keep your body centered, grip the tank with your knees, and use smooth movements instead of sudden jerks. Our instructor will guide you through proper positioning step by step.
3. Forgetting to Cover the Rear Brake
Mistake: Not keeping a foot ready on the rear brake is a common beginner error that can lead to uncontrolled flips.
Fix: Always keep your right foot lightly on the rear brake. This acts as your safety net to bring the front wheel down smoothly if needed.
4. Panicking and Tensing Up
Mistake: New riders often get nervous and stiffen up, making it harder to control the bike.
Fix: Stay relaxed and let the bike do the work. A calm grip and controlled inputs make all the difference. Our training environment helps you build confidence at your own pace.
